Poverty Simulation gets Attention of Local Students

Kionne Thomas, one of the student teachers, is helping to raise her 12-year-old sister and her young daughter while finishing up her work at PSU. "It touches me a lot closer than most of you," she said during the discussion after she and other student teachers scurried around trying to make ends meet for an hour, which represented a four-week month.
